Wife Offered as Physical Collateral for Debt

A husband and wife running a struggling small-town factory ask a longtime acquaintance, President Nakata, to act as their joint guarantor. Nakata cheerfully stamps the papers saying friends help each other in hard times, but his wife Minako looks unhappy about it. The couple barely survives that month’s crisis. The next month they hear Minako has collapsed from stress. As atonement the wife starts visiting Nakata’s house to nurse her. Nakata seizes the opportunity and begins using the wife’s body as compensation, gradually dominating and taming her while she is trapped between the debt and her sense of obligation.
